Another project located on the high spots of Alum chine, overlooking Bournemouth beaches. This building is situated a stone’s throw from the cliff tops and gets hit with a lot of weather fronts.
On this residential building we completed various remedial works. Two chimney breasts were causing big issues with water ingress and failing lead. The lead had been held together using a flash band temporary tape, which was barely holding the lead in place. We stripped out all of the old lead and lead step flashings, re-grinded out the chase, cleaned them all out and fitted new code 5 lead. Also, on the building we completed valley refurbishments, tile works and flat roofing upgrades. We are looking forward to returning in summer 22 to do a complete refurbishment of all fascia/soffit and guttering.
