On this townhouse property in Putney, we completed refurbishment works on a mansard pitched roof.
The works consisted of stripping back both the front and rear pitched elevations to the joists. The issue had been with the existing synthetic slates and cracking across the areas. This, in turn had affected the batten and breather membrane underneath and due to water damage, they required replacing. After stripping out, we fitted a new high performance breather membrane and treated roofing batten. We then supplied and fitted new Cedral Thrutone slates, which at the client’s request were larger than the original slate at 600x300mm. Along with the pitched sections, we refurbished the box gutters and crown flat roof system.
